On July 18, 2026, the calm surface of Štrbské pleso will transform into "Venice of the Tatras". The event's name, Venetian Night, is no coincidence. In past decades, Venetian Night was organized by visitors and residents of the Tatras as a relaxing early-evening event featuring boating, music, and great food. For the ninth time, Štrbské pleso will recreate an authentic Venetian atmosphere. Experience an event filled with romance and a rich program during a unique summer evening. The ambiance will be enhanced by period Baroque costumes, attractive mirror statues, and an exceptional musical program. The entire program will take place behind the Kempinski Hotel, on the water surface of Štrbské pleso, and at the boat pier.
During the event, 22 wooden boats will be waiting for you at the pier, allowing you to sail across the surface of Štrbské pleso. Cruise tickets (limited availability) will be sold directly at the pier.
