A moderately strenuous hike to the bottom station of the chair lift to Chata pod Soliskom.
Join the blue waymarked trail at the Štrbské Pleso train station. It follows the ridge of Soliskový hrebeň directly to Chata pod Soliskom (chalet at 1,840 m above sea level). When climbing, you can see the chair lift on your right.
Located on the south slope of Predné Solisko (2,117 m above sea level), Chata pod Soliskom is the newest mountain chalet in the High Tatras. It was built for skiers as a shelter from bad weather. The chalet is a great starting point for a hike to Predné Solisko, and is open to tourists all year around. Apart from refreshment, information and accommodation, visitors can enjoy a free tanning salon on the sunny patio while taking in the amazing view of Kriváň, Podtatranská kotlina and the Low Tatras (Nízke Tatry).
To get to Chata pod Soliskom, feel free to use the chair lift from Štrbské Pleso.
From the trail junction at Chata pod Soliskom, take the path that goes down to Furkotská dolina. Later on, join the trail of Tatranská magistrála and walk back to Štrbské Pleso.

In the price of ski passes is included the insurance of the Mountain Rescue Service on marked ski slopes at the resort where ski passes are valid. The insurance is valid during the operating hours of the center and during the day of validity of the skipass.
