The trail around the lake is closed.
From today, 16 February 2026, until Wednesday, 18 February 2026, the trail around Štrbské Pleso lake will be closed – from Hotel Solisko, past the SNP Heroes Memorial, around the ski tracks, up to Hotel Patria.
The trail from Hotel Solisko, past Grand Hotel Kempinski and Koliba Patria, all the way to Hotel Patria and back, remains open.
